Benefits of Myofunctional Therapy

The four goals of myofunctional therapy are nasal breathing, correct tongue posture, a lip seal, and correct swallowing. When these goals are achieved it allows better eating, sleeping, breathing, and speaking. It also can lead to proper facial development in children, help stabilize orthodontic results and help lessen or eliminate snoring and teeth grinding.
